Why Choose A Nordman Fir?

We think our trees are pretty special, here are some of the reasons why...

No, not all Christmas Trees are the same, there are actually quite a few different types, and at Tetbury Trees we have grown thousands of Nordman Fir trees.

While a Norway Spruce is often thought to be the most traditional type of Christmas Tree, the Nordman Fir is the most popular in Europe. There are a few different reasons for this and it’s important to understand your tree so you know how to give it the best possible care.

A Nordman Firs is less spiky than a traditional tree and has strong evenly spaced branches, giving you lots of space for baubles and other decorations. They also don’t have a strong smell so they are perfect for people who are allergic, or just don’t like the smell!

One of the reasons these trees are so popular is that they don’t drop needles as much as other types of trees. As long as you keep your tree healthy and hydrated, it will last right up until Christmas and you won’t lose too many needles. Nordman Firs tend to last longer than other types of trees as well which makes it the perfect choice if you like to have your tree just a little bit longer!

Planted in April 2015, our trees have grown a lot over the years...
